Dear Parents,
The Parents Club of Guerin Prep would like to welcome you and your student to Guerin Prep.
Our Mission
The purpose of the Guerin Parents Club is to involve parents and other family members in events that enhance the student/school experience. The Parents Club exists to help strengthen the partnership that exists between the parents, students, faculty and administration.
Our Vision
The vision of the Guerin Parents Club is to encourage family members to be active participants in the Guerin Community. We want the "Guerin Experience" to be exciting for both the student and the parent. Share your time and your talents to help our school grow. Meet other parents and make new friends. Step into our school and stay active in your student's education.
Join us
We welcome and encourage you to join the Parents Club. The Parents Club is open to any family member who wishes to support the Guerin students and Guerin Prep High School. We invite you to join our bi-monthly meetings the first Tuesday of every other month at 7 p.m. at Guerin Prep High School. Please park in the back of the school and enter via the school store doors.
Volunteer
We welcome as much or as little time as people want to give. Even one hour of your time is valued and appreciated. Remember, there is strength in numbers. Parent involvement is our priority.

Athletic Booster Club
Our Mission
The Guerin Prep Athletic Booster Club was formed in August of 2004. Membership is composed of all parents, guardians and friends of students currently attending Guerin Prep. Our mission is to promote Guerin Prep’s athletic programs through fundraising efforts which afford all student-athletes the opportunity to achieve their potential. Funds raised are intended to support the schools athletic programs at a level higher than would otherwise be possible without financial support.
Join us
We welcome and encourage you to join us the first Wednesday of every month from August to May at 7:00 pm in the Holy Cross Cafeteria. The 2008-2009 dates are: Aug. 6, Sept. 3, Oct. 1. Nov. 5, Dec. 3, Jan. 7, Feb. 4, March 4, April 1 and May 6. Enter through the dock door across from the baseball diamond.
Activities
The Booster Club coordinates several fund raisers during each school year, including running the concessions stands for football and basketball games. During the 2008-2009 school year, the Boosters will sponsor the 5K Walk/Run (see the ad this page) on Sunday, Oct. 28, and will run the Vegas Room for the school's Big Event, scheduled for Saturday, March 7. We recently helped the school spruce up the Holy Cross building with a paint job and some landscapping help.
Purchases
In the spring of each school year all varsity coaches are asked to submit a “Wish List” of items for their team. During the past two years the Athletic Booster Club is proud to say we were able to purchase every item requested by the coaches, including:
- A Defibrillator for the HC Building
- Track & Cross Country Warm-ups
- 2-4 Softball Bats for Girls Softball
- Wrestling Championship Match Singlets
- Football T-shirts & Shorts for Varsity
- Reconditioning of one Wrestling Mat
Volunteers
Every dollar raised by the Athletic Booster Club is used to help strengthen the athletic program here at Guerin Prep. We ask that you give generously with your time.
